Yes! In fact, early allergen introduction is particularly important for babies with eczema because this group has a 1 in 3 chance of developing food allergies. According to the medical guidelines from the AAP, infants with eczema should be introduced to allergens such as milk and egg at 4-6 months of age in order to reduce the risk of developing allergies by up to 80%. Even if your baby is not yet ready for solids (as most aren't at 4 months), our packets can be added to a bottle with breast milk or formula.
The USDA Dietary Guideline Report released in July 2020 also recommends that all babies start early allergen introduction with allergen-causing foods, such as peanuts and eggs, to begin at the age of 4-months.
