Ready. Set. Food! is aligned with the FDA’s Closer to Zero program for monitoring and reducing exposure to toxic elements in foods consumed by infants and young children. We use independent third-party labs to test our products and ingredients to ensure that our products are below the current and proposed action limits for heavy metals. Metals are found in the earth’s soil, some naturally and some through environmental contamination. (1) Because of this, nearly all foods may contain some level of heavy metals.
